For 21 years, I headed up luxury UK public relations & marketing company, Magellan PR (Magellan). Before that, I worked for The Leading Hotels of the World as European PR Manager and headed up Columbus Communications as Managing Director and European co-ordinator, now part of the PRco brand.

My clients have ranged from hotels to hotel groups, destinations to tour operators, chefs & restaurants to inns – both in the luxury and mid-range sectors. When I decided to step down as Managing Director of Magellan PR, the decision was taken to close the company on 31st December 2019 to allow its three senior executives the chance to pursue their own personal goals and dreams.

As of January 2020, I will work as a freelance PR, strategist, content provider and photographer under the Team A3 Traveller collective of PR and marketing specialists as well as focussing on writing and photography with my own consumer blog – A3Traveller.com.

My little black contact book, built up over a lifetime in the travel industry, gives me direct access to the UK’s senior journalists writing on a diverse range of topics. It also contains the details of many of the hotel industry’s most important operatives in tourism and travel.

I am happy to work on a project or retained basis for both PR, digital and marketing companies as well as directly with hotels, destinations and local businesses.
